Caffeinated Love

Pink and coffee.....and watercolor! I think that says it all!
My image is from Unity Stamp Co.'s LOVE TO GO Kit. The inside says "Caffeinated Love." Isn't that cute?

I stamped with Archival Black Ink (SU!), and then watercolored a background using my Kuretake Gansai Tambi paints (love them!). The border is a die cut by Pretty Posh. The paper I used on this is Hobby Lobby's Heavyweight White CS. I was surprised at how well it took the paint, and kept a nice finish. The card base is Crumb Cake (SU!).

At Crazy 4 Challenges, we are all about coffee and tea today! Check out our blog for some awesome DT inspiration, and then play along!
I am having a huge craft sale in a Facebook Group page! A whole lotta crafty goodness from my stamp studio -- for you! Lots of stamps, dies, ribbon, paper, stickers, embellishments and more! Lots of your favorite brand name companies!

Watercolor Hooray

Today I spent some time watercoloring - an easy background, with four loosely blended colors. If you have seen many of my posts, a lot of times I like to mix comtemporary and traditional elements, as well as graphic or geometric and vintage.
I stamped my sentiment (Watercolor Words) in Archival Black Ink (Stampin' Up!) several times using my MISTI, as watercolor paper has a texture that sometimes takes a few impressions for the solid look I want. Next, I added washi tape (also Stampin' Up!) down the left side, and layered Black Diamond Metallic Baker's Twine and Pink Burlap String (Really Reasonable Ribbon) on top. I love this string, and want every color Bonnie offers in the RRR Store! This pink matches the upper right corner of my watercolor perfectly.
Finally, I added a heart shaped mini shaker, with heart confetti inside, to the upper right corner, and mounted this panel on Basic Black cardstock. The final layer is vintage black lace patterned paper (Paper House) on a light pink (Blush Blossom-SU!) cardstock.
All my layers are held together with Scor-Tape. I think it makes for a fun celebratory card!

It's the April Really Reasonable Ribbon Hop!

Welcome to the April Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop! If you arrived here from Ginny's blog, you are in the right place! If you just happened along, be sure to start at the beginning at the RRR Blog (I am the third stop this month, so you don't have far back to go!) so you don't miss out on the awesome projects, fun news, and a prize from Really Reasonable Ribbon! Our hop goes live at 6:30 AM Central.
Each 13th of the month it's the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog hop where we highlight the Ribbon Club! Take a look at this month's ribbon club package. Isn't it pretty?
If you really love ribbon and would like to have a wonderful assortment of ribbons sent to you automatically each month, just join the Really Reasonable Ribbon Club! Monthly ribbon club assortments are selected and pre-packed to reflect a specific theme, color, or holiday season.

Today's card is a sweet Easter greeting.

I love these little bunnies. It is Spring, after all! Happy Easter! All of my layers are held together with Scor-Tape.
I chose the beautiful Diamond Satin Tropic in this month's Ribbon Club Assortment. It paired perfectly with the colors in my patterned paper, and also with the White Seam Binding that I dyed using a Stampin' Up reinker and water. I added some pretty Cream Cherry Blossoms to the center of my bow. Tiny Kaiser pearls (see the first photo) and a pearl stick pin finish the embellishments.

Thank you for stopping by and for your sweet comments! Now off to Cheryl's blog, where you will have a feast for the eyes!

Petite Notes for Big Greetings

Hello! Today I have some super cute petite notecards to share.
These little cards are about 3x3 and 2.75x4 -- just the right size to tuck into a sweet little envelope and attach to a gift, or hand deliver to the recipient. Each one has some cute die cuts, a little bling or washi tape, and some sweet trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon!

The first card uses a watercolor background, three die cuts, and some sweet Cotton Candy Baker's Twine. Tied around the middle, it adds some warmth and "homespun" to the card. I love all the patterns on the little camera!

The next is so sweet with its contrast of navy and yellow. I have a thing for typewriters (and own several - working and vintage), so I love this little contemporary yellow one. Sequins and a row of Mini Ric Rac are all it needs to pack a punch!

Finally, I have a graphic note with different shapes and designs, wrapped with Oyster Baker's Twine above the navy sentiment and washi tape, for a casual contrast.

These notes were made with die cuts from Hobby Lobby and the Stampin' Up! Watercolor Wishes Kit.

I love having little notes on hand, ready at a moment's notice for whatever occasion occurs!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Get Wild With Crazy 4 Challenges

I am excited to be a part of the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog Team! It's so new, that I even forgot to post my challenge card last week here on my own blog! So I will share that at another time. But today begins a new challenge, and it's all about ZOO ANIMALS! Today is Zoo Lovers' Day, so the challenge is to incorporate an animal - wild or not - on your projects!

It will come as no surprise to anyone that I chose a giraffe!
I had never done a punched anything before, and I thought it would be pretty simple. KUDOS to all you punchers -- this was harder than it looked (having no directions) -- I am in awe of all the things you all make with punches!! BUT -- I had a blast making this cutie pie giraffe.

I used pearls for the nostrils and eyes, and a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the background. I think he turned out pretty cute! I hope you will join in and show us your wild side! And check out the C4C Blog to see what all my teamies made!

Stamps: Stampin' Up!

Paper Size: A2
Ink: Crumb Cake, So Saffron, Pink Pirouette

Bunny Roses

It's time for a new challenge at Really Reasonable Ribbon! We are celebrating spring and all the beautiful flowers that will be popping up soon! I hope you will play along in our Flower Themed Challenge!
My card is made with the February KOTM from Unity Stamp Co. Don't you love that bunny? She has some pretty roses for a crown. The mulberry flowers I used are available at RRR too! Check out the beautiful burgundy cottage roses and the pretty pink tea roses!
I wrapped my card base panel with Ivory burlap string, and used it in my organza ribbon bow as well, making a string bow on top of the organza. I added a couple of tulle and pearl stems (Hobby Lobby) for added decoration.
Everything is held together with 1/4" and 3/8" Scor-Tape. I colored my bunny with Copic markers, and used a Spellbinders Oval die to cut the frame and main panel. Our challenges are always a lot of fun, so come on over to the RRR Blog and play along!
