A New Sketch and a Lace Rosette~

It's Thursday, and that means a fabulous new sketch at The Deconstructed Sketch! Sketch #90 has lots of possibilities for embellishments and is a great layout for using different patterned papers!
I used Carta Bella's Beautiful Moments 12 x 12 Collection Kit -- a kit I have been working with a lot this month. It is available at i {heart} papers. I love the colors and various stickers that come with this kit. It is so easy to put a card together!

I used 1.5" Ivory Crochet Lace from Really Reasonable Ribbon for my ribbon rosette. You can see the tutorial HERE.

My bird sticker from the paper kit is colored in using Spectrum Noir EB1, available at i {heart} papers.

Spectrum Noir + 12 x 12 Paper Kits = Easy!

It's i {heart} papers Design Team Challenge day! Today we are sharing creations using some fabulous paper kits and Spectrum Noir markers! Yep, IHP is carrying the complete line of Spectrum Noir markers now! I love them!

I used Carta Bella's Beautiful Moments 12 x 12 kit for my card. I also used Flourishes' In And Out You stamp set for my sentiment.
I used many of the stickers from the kit, as well as two stamps from the Flourishes set. Love how this all came together so easily! I colored in the bird using my Spectrum Noir markers.

Be sure to check out what the rest of the team created!

A Valentine Sketch~!

Happy Valentine's Day! Believe it or not, this is my favorite holiday of the year. I know -- crazy, right? I am such a romantic.

It's also Thursday, and that means a new sketch at Deconstructing Jen~! Today I am sharing a creation with Jen's Deconstructed Sketch 89:
I changed my main image panel from a square to an oval, and turned the scallops the other way.

My images are Lizzie Riding Hood from Whimsie Doodles. I colored in with Copic markers. The Red Ric Rac is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I love the words on the designer paper. They are all wolfie sounds!
